Symptoms
|
As we can see, many of the symptoms of AIWS are involved in some way or another in a skewed perception of reality, primarily with visual inputs from the brain. This doesn't mean that a person suffering from AIWS has problems with their eyes or their vision for that matter; it seems that a main problem with this condition is that the inputs that are being received are being warped. It's as though the inputs are getting lost in translation as they are processed by the brain.

Treatment
There’s no official treatment for AIWS but depending on what is causing the AIWS symptoms it can be somewhat controlled. For example if the symptoms are being caused by migraines then prescription drugs can be taken to treat the migraines; if the migraines can be stopped then the AIWS can also be stopped. Symptoms for AIWS can also be lessened by living a healthy lifestyle, i.g. getting enough sleep, staying hydrated, avoiding unnecessary stress. Luckily, for most people, this condition usually subsides after a while.
